How to care for your graphics
Self Adhesive Vinyl Static Cling Magnetic
Self Adhesive Vinyl
To keep your cut vinyl or printed graphics clean we would recommend using a little soapy water and a sponge. Avoid any petrochemicals, abrasive or corrosive materials. Do not jet wash.
Static Cling
Depending on where your static cling window film has been applied you may notice that the film becomes slightly brittle after a year or two. The length of time varies according to the amount of light that the film has been subjected to.
To overcome this problem, remove the film and immerse it in a solution of warm soapy water. Leave it immersed for a few minutes and then reapply it to the window. This will help to rehydrate the material.
Magnetic
Before applying your magnet to your vehicle, make sure that both surfaces are clean and flat.
Vehicle magnets are designed to be removed frequently. Please clean both surfaces regularly to avoid damage to your paintwork. If you intend to keep your magnets on your vehicle then please remove and clean and dry them at least once a week to avoid rust forming.
Do not apply your magnet over rust spots or flaky paint as this will reduce the power of the magnet and will also cause your vehicle more damage.
Magnet signs are easily removed - if your vehicle is parked in the open then remove the signs and place them inside the vehicle. That way the signs will stay in your possession!
All our vehicle magnets have rounded corners. This is to help reduce wind resistance when travelling at speeds. If your magnet has been attached to a smooth flat surface then you should be able to safely travel at speeds up to 60mph. However, HolloGraphics Ltd cannot be held responsible for magnets falling off your vehicle at any speed.
When not in use, store your magnets flat to prevent cracking.
Please note that HolloGraphics Ltd cannot be held responsible for any damage caused to your vehicle by the application of magnetic vehicle signs.
